This high body meeting between congresses will be open to “all activists” who want to participate, but according to an official party source, Luce said, only leaders who are already members of the National Council, in which the leader has an overwhelming majority.
“Realizing that it is important that there are no internal doubts about the legitimacy of the president and the style of leadership that he approved both in party and parliamentary terms, the country’s leadership also asked the national table for the XI National Council to be open. to the participation of all activists, from all regions of the country, so that the debate is complete, global and as comprehensive as possible,” defends the party.
Therefore, the first plenary meeting will take place at the same time (a figure that is not included in the charter), “as a way for activists to directly participate in moving the party forward.”
Ventura announced the submission of a vote of confidence after criticizing MP Gabriel Mita Ribeiro, who stepped down as vice president of the board after being removed from coordinating the party’s research department.
In a statement, Chega points out that “all militants will normally be able to participate and intervene in accordance with the terms of the internal regulations, which will be approved by the table.”
The work will begin with a vote of confidence presented by the chairman of the party, which will be voted on by “secret ballot at a closed box” at the end of the debate.
“The results will be announced by the national bureau shortly after the count is confirmed by the bureau and the national judicial council,” the statement said.

The far-right leader said it was “obvious that there is a faction in the party today” that he believes is in the minority and that challenges the current leadership.
“I intend to present the party with a vote of confidence, which should be marked as a matter of urgency, where everyone can take part and have their own position to determine if this is the path they want, the path that brought us here,” said Andre Ventura . on the sidelines of the final meeting of the Chega Summer Youth Academy.
