Brandon Thomas Byrne, 21 months old, died last Friday after being hit by a jeep in the village of Ballinagar, County Roscommon, Ireland.
It was about 9 am when the boy got out of bed and was able to get out of the house on his own. The neighbor did not see the child and eventually ran into her. Realizing what had happened, the man immediately alerted Brandon’s parents, who thought it was all a mistake.
Sleeping at the time of the incident, the parents, Andrew Byrne and Louise Kehir, only after making sure that the boy was not in bed or anywhere else in the house, realized that the tragedy had really happened.
The boy’s father, Andrew Byrne, paid tribute to the child and said that he “will love him until the end of time.” Sun.
