Sasa Kalajdzic’s move from VfB Stuttgart to Wolverhampton Wanderers, which had already become apparent in the past few days, was officially confirmed on Wednesday.
The ÖFB national team striker has signed a five-year contract with the English first division club with an option for another season. Around 17 million euros transfer fee plus bonus payments had recently been rumored in the media.
The 25-year-old, who had previously been associated with FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the summer, came to VfB from Admira in the summer of 2019. He scored 24 competitive goals for the Swabians, but was often absent for a long time due to injury.
