Nature-loving heart people
Plöchl and Rapp describe themselves as nature-loving heart people who have given themselves the name “Team Spirit”. In the show they want to show that they are more than “daughter of” or “sister of”. “There is more to learn about me than that I am Lukas Plöchl’s sister. I am committed to a harmonious world in many ways, and was recently able to use crowdfunding to build a kindergarten in South Africa. I also eat plant-based food as an active contribution to resource conservation”, the 25-year-old is quoted in a broadcast.
Model with corners and edges
Sonja Plöchl already gained TV experience years ago: In autumn 2014 she took part in the casting show “Austria’s Next Top Model”. The then 17-year-old, pierced and tattooed, was considered an outsider with her rough edges. In the sixth season of the show, the pretty Mühlviertlerin, who describes herself as stubborn and strong-willed, made it into the top nine. Eventually she left the show voluntarily. “I couldn’t stand life in a golden cage anymore,” said Plöchl at the time. She continued to work on her modeling career. Most recently, she volunteered for an aid project in South Africa. She looked after children from the village of Isithumba near Durban every afternoon until the beginning of March:
