On August 20, 2001, the spa town of Bad Hall was elevated to the status of a town. Since no big festival was possible last year due to corona, the spa town is simply celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. And with good reason: Exactly 20 years ago, Bad Hall was officially given the town elevation certificate at the town elevation festival.
Today and tomorrow, Bad Hall is giving its citizens and numerous guests a weekend packed with music and joie de vivre with the 6th town festival. 13 live bands perform on four stages in the city center, the program is complemented by a party tent with DJ disco music, daily children’s entertainment, various shows and competitions. But first things first.
After a four-year break, the city festival starts on Friday at 2 p.m. with a farmers’ market. At 6 p.m., Bad Hall’s city wine will be presented on the main stage on the main square with the Stodertaler Gaudi-Express, after the beer tapping the city band will perform from 9 p.m. The Roadsbuam, Grungerm and Keep Cool can be heard on the VPS stage this evening from 6 p.m., DJ music is available from 9 p.m. in the party tent.
The children’s program starts on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Alpine Club, children’s friends, nature lovers and the cycling lobby are also there. At 5 p.m., the main stage will feature Mai Cocopelli’s children’s songs and the “monsters in me” let’s go, followed by the performance of the Bad Hall ÖTB gymnasts. This is followed by the concert highlights with the “Hot Pants Road Club” at 7pm and Lemo at 9:30pm.
From 11 p.m. DJ Gravis will take over the main stage. On the VPS stage, they take turns “the jean” and “TheTimes” every hour from 7 p.m., in the music pavilion in the Kurpark Dance Wookie Dance (5.30 p.m.) and Traunbridge Dixieland (8 p.m.) entertain, the Hametnereck stage performs from 8 p.m. Boogie Sue, Susanna Maass feat. Alex Ramerseder. And in the party tent there will be DJ music again from 9 p.m. “As a supplement to the town festival, we are also offering an oasis of calm with church tours and organ music in the town parish church for the first time”says organizer Hans Peter Holnsteiner.
Kremsmauer Festival: Josh. wants stamped postcards
For its 20th anniversary, the Micheldorf amusement park is celebrating a brilliant comeback: the premiere of the “Kremsmauer Festival” attracts some stars of the local scene to the Kremstal from Monday, September 5th to Thursday, September 8th. Josh will play on Monday to kick things off. & band (Cordula Grün, Expresso & Tschianti), the next day Ina Regen takes over with band (“How a child”, “Yeah eh”) the stage. On Wednesday offers “All attention” (Marie) Party atmosphere below the Kremsmauer, and offer at the end “Legends of Rock-Bohemian Rhapsody” with their Queen hits best festival mood in Micheldorf. With the Ukrainian Julia Ivanova even the winner of the Starmania counterpart sings “X factor” With. All concerts start at 8 p.m.

During the culinary walk through the village, more than 40 producers present their specialities, from bread to vegetables, baked goods, cheese and meat delicacies to delicious cider. The festival is rounded off with music and culture on two stages and a children’s program.
Fun evening for a good cause
The mix of cabaret, music cabaret and biting satire guarantees an entertaining evening. Be there when Heilbutt&Rosen start to take steep highs and lows through their everyday relationships. The benefit cabaret of the Kiwanisclub Steyr should have taken place on July 1st in the Stadtsaal Steyr. Due to the city hall being closed, the Steyrer Serviceclub had to switch to the date today, Friday, in the Steyrer Stadttheater. Proceeds from the event benefit children and young people with congenital muscular atrophy. All members of the Kiwanisclub Steyr work on a voluntary basis. Tickets are still available from members of the Kiwanisclub. Start is today at 7.30 p.m. Entry is already at 6.30 p.m.

Flea market in Pfarrkirchen
In the newly designed vicarage and vicarage garden there are perfect conditions for this year’s flea market, which will take place on Sunday, September 4th from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. From 11 a.m. there will be a morning pint with music. All day long there are culinary delicacies for the visitors with roasts and pastries. The flea market has existed for exactly 50 years and is known far beyond the municipal boundaries.
