The Czechs want to launch three new e-models by 2026: a small car, a compact SUV and a seven-seater for families. The large SUV should have a range of 600 kilometers and be able to charge with up to 200 kW. Skoda gave a preview of what the model could look like this week in Prague. There the Czechs presented the concept car Vision S7, which shows the new design line from Skoda.
5.6 billion for e-mobility
By 2030, the traditional brand is aiming for a 70 percent share of e-car sales. To this end, Skoda will be investing 5.6 billion euros in e-mobility and 700 million euros in digitization over the next few years.
In addition, Skoda is still concentrating on what will probably be the last models with combustion engines. Next year comes the new generation of the Superb and the Kodiaq, followed in 2024 by the refreshed Octavia.
