A 20-month-old girl died from a head injury when she was hit by hail on Tuesday in La Bisbal d’Emporda, Girona, Catalonia region, Spain. In this area of the neighboring country last night even a hail of 10 to 11 centimeters in size fell out, about 50 people were injured.
After being wounded, the child was taken to the Josep Truet Hospital, but died a few hours later, according to the Spanish agency EFE and the Catalan media.
