Truck came off B145 and overturned

A truck driver had lost control of his heavy vehicle near the village of Sulzbach near Bad Ischl (Gmunden district). The silo train ran into the opposite lane on the B145 and fell over the embankment onto a meadow, where it came to rest on its side.

Task forces from the Sulzbach fire station, the Bad Ischl main fire station and the Pfandl fire department freed the driver from the four-axle vehicle through the windscreen. He was treated by Red Cross paramedics. The firefighters secured the scene of the accident, set up fire protection and prevented equipment from leaking.

A specialist company was responsible for salvaging and transporting the wreck. During the work, which took around two hours, the B145 was only passable on one lane, according to the Bad Ischl fire brigade on Saturday evening.
