On Saturday morning, the 36-year-old drove from his home address via the B139 to a waste collection center. His six-year-old daughter was sitting in the back of the flatbed truck – although there would have been enough space for the girl in the passenger compartment.
A witness drew the driver’s attention to his illegal behavior, but the man didn’t seem to care. He also started the return journey to his home address with the child on the loading area.
He had a somewhat strange reason ready for the police: the assembly of the child seat would have been too time-consuming for the short distance, the 36-year-old told the officials.
A mother from the Kirchdorf district also behaved irresponsibly on the road. The drunk 27-year-old was driving her car in the city of Wels on Friday evening – she had her two-and-a-half-year-old son on her lap:
