The new primary care center (PVZ) was officially opened. General practitioners Vlada Milosevic, Sabine Sagerer and Christine Strauss have been practicing here since January. Since July there have also been qualified nurses and ordination assistants in the new PVZ. This core team is expanded by specialists in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, clinical psychology, dietetics and social work.
“An important motivation for me to work in a PVZ was the very close disciplinary cooperation with many health professions,” explains Dr. sayer “We are open a total of 40 hours a week. On three days even until 7 p.m..”
Deputy Governor Christine Haberlander spoke of a milestone in healthcare. ÖGK chairman Albert Maringer is convinced that primary care will bring about a turnaround in medical care. President Peter Niedermoser of the Medical Association also emphasized the importance of the organizational form of a PVZ, incidentally the eighth such facility in Upper Austria.
