Graham Knott is a Canadian power forward moving to Europe from the American Hockey League. In the preseason, the 6-foot-1 wing played 61 games for the Milwaukee Admirals, recording 13 goals and 13 assists.
The 25-year-old can also play as a centre-forward and is considered a prototype power winger who “has the ability and dedication to make an impact in every substitution.”
“Graham is a tall forward who works very hard at both ends of the ice. He’s planned for us at the center, but he can also play on the wing. He’s also very strong on the face-off, an area where we still need to improve,” said chief scout Rick Nasheim.
New signing Knott is happy about his new role: “I’ve heard a lot of good things about the city and the team and I can’t wait to get started. My goal is to help the team as best I can and also to develop personally. With my size, I feel very comfortable in the turmoil in front of goal and I want to create space there for my team-mates.”
With Knott’s commitment, the squad composition for the coming season should also be complete.
