Internet reviews play a crucial role when booking accommodation. What did the vacationers who have stayed there like? And what did they complain about? More than eight million hotels around the world appear on Tripadvisor. A current ranking of the online platform shows which of these domiciles have been rated the most and best in the past twelve months.
Already at this point it can be revealed: A hotel from Austria did not make it into the list of the top 25. Tripadvisor has created its own country ranking for this. The Hotel Kaiserhof in Vienna took first place, second place went to the Biohotel Daberer in Dellach (Carinthia) and third place was taken by the wellness hotel Tuxerhof in Tyrol. 4. Romance Istanbul Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey (4 stars)
This boutique hotel in the style of “1001 Nights” is one of the top five in the world. Each room is decorated in Arabic style. In the immediate vicinity there are also two top sights, the Süleymaniye Mosque and Istiklal Street.
3. Ikos Aria in Kefalos on Kos, Greece (5 stars)
Would you like a luxury holiday on the Mediterranean? Then a stay at Ikos Aria is recommended. Tripadvisor users appreciate the wonderful location, the wide sandy beach and the crystal clear water.
2. Hotel Colline de France in Gramado, Brazil (4 stars)
“Whether for a honeymoon or a family vacation: this hotel is easy to fall in love with,” writes one user. In fact, the Brazilian hotel looks like it’s straight out of a romantic picture book.

The resort is located in Manuel Antonio National Park – a paradise on earth. The mixture of nature and pure luxury seems to have impressed the Tripadvisor community the most: it was voted the best hotel in the world.
