23 people die when a karaoke house catches fire

The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinhordered on Wednesday the inspection of establishments at risk, including karaoke bars, very popular in the country.

It is the deadliest fire in Vietnam since that of a residential building in Ho Chi Minh City in 2018 that left 13 fatalities.

A similar tragedy (13 dead) occurred in 2016 in a karaoke bar in the capital, Hanoiand already warned then of the security conditions of many similar establishments.
