Before the ball rolls in the Raiffeisen Arena, the athletes gave the anticipation another kick yesterday on Linz’s main square. The shooting of the official team photo in the heart of Linz was another step on the way back to the old homeland.
This made LASK an attraction five months before the first competitive ball contact in the capital since December 2020: Countless cell phone photos were taken of the procedure, and at the end a group of schoolchildren received a souvenir photo.
LASK is a guest in Lustenau on Sunday, the return match at the end of February will be the first Bundesliga home game in the Raiffeisen Arena. “We like to play in Pasching,” said coach Dietmar Kühbauer, “but going back to where LASK has always played is something special.”
