The Minho line has already been reopened in both directions after it was cut off after a train accident in Barcelos, Braga district, a Civil Protection source told Lusa this Thursday.
A source from Braga’s District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) said at 11:30 p.m. that rail traffic had already been restored after the collision that killed a person.
The incident alert occurred at 20:29, death was pronounced on the spot, the same source explained earlier, adding that the appeal was terminated due to ongoing operations.
The Barcelos Fire Department, Medical Ambulance and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) and PSP were called to the scene.
