When the 33-year-old woman re-entered the room, she found only her eleven-year-old son there. The nine-month-old baby was found on the lawn below the balcony on the fifth floor of a residential building. Despite an immediate rescue chain, the baby died in the hospital.
All final findings were sent to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, the police emphasized on Monday. The boy is under 14 years of age and is therefore not responsible for criminal offenses.
