A look at this year’s figures makes those responsible at Linz AG pools happy. A total of 337,999 outdoor pool guests were counted between May and September. “We are satisfied with this summer season. In addition to the nice weather we had been hoping for, June in particular gave us many bathers,” says Linz AG Pools Director Roland Hess. “This brings us close to 2019, which was one of the best years.”
At 63,000 bathers, the number of visitors in May was even higher than in the pre-Corona year 2019. However, the peak day of this season was June 19th. On this Sunday around 4,700 people refreshed themselves in the Parkbad, in the Hummelhofbad there were around 3,200 visitors on the same day. With a total of 94,000 bathers, July also brought a good number of visitors to the Linz AG baths.
While “outside” people were busy bathing, “inside” the necessary revision work was carried out on the facilities. Today, September 12th, the Linz AG bathing oases are starting the winter season. This time, too, there will be a colorful offer for young and old. For example, on October 22, the first “long night in the sauna world” will take place in the Parkbad.
