Nature lovers can choose from excursions to the European nature reserve Unterer Inn. Bird migration is the focus of a guided tour on Sunday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. from Kirchdorf am Inn. The meeting point is at the “Hexenhaus” viewing point in Katzenbergleithen. The Schärding District Nature Conservation Union called on the bird expert Franz Stoll. Interested parties can join for free. Many migratory bird species, some of which are rare, can be observed at this time of year. You can cycle through the European reserve on Saturday, September 17th, from Simbach – meeting point is at 2 p.m. at the Inn bridge near the Aenus in Simbach: The Naturium Ering offers a guided 25-kilometer bike tour along the Inn, downstream on the Bavarian side and back via the Frauenstein-Ering power plant on the Innviertler side.
