“Trinity Park” zoning plan in council

“Trinity Park” zoning plan in council

It is a well-known fact that the former Nestlé site on Franckstrasse is set to rise high: three towers between 80 and 100 meters high are to be built there. As recently reported, the area and the project plans developed for it have changed hands, and the Viennese real estate developer “Vermehrt” now wants to build the planned “Trinity Park”.

The well-known key data of the project – in addition to office space, a student residence with 250 rooms, a hotel, a local supplier and a park are planned – will remain unchanged, said at yesterday’s press conference by Gregor Beilein (Member of the Board Vermehrt) and Gerold Letzbor (Project Development L -Bau Engineering GmbH). “We are proud to be able to help develop the face of Linz as a modern and diverse city,” said Beilein.

Start of construction planned for mid-2024

Construction is scheduled to start in mid-2024, before demolition work is required. Letzbor anticipates a construction period of around two and a half years. It is said that it is difficult to estimate how high the investment volume will ultimately be in view of the current price developments and pending equipment decisions. This could amount to up to 300 million euros.

In the next step, the municipal council on September 22nd will vote on the changes to the zoning and development plan that are necessary for the project implementation. Planning councilor Dietmar Prammer (SP) and urban development director Hans-Martin Neumann emphasized yesterday that the Trinity Park project would upgrade the entire Franckviertel.
