Autumn started with a shower of medals for LAC

Extremely good start to the autumn for the LAC Amateure Steyr: Not only medals, but also many personal bests were brought home to Steyr from the state and federal championships in the junior sector. The whole team delivered strong performances in the competitions.

In the U20 category, there was gold for the pole vaulter Lisa Gruber with 390 m. Despite a break of several months in the spring, Gruber won all Austrian championships and state championships as well as the state championship title in the general class this year. There is currently no way around the LAC athlete. It will be exciting to see where the journey will take her. If she continues like this – then in any case into dizzy heights. Paul Leitenbauer took silver twice – once in the 800m with a time of 2:03.72 minutes and once in the 1500m with a time of 4:03.6 minutes. Evelyn Rohn came fifth in the discus throw with 33.34 m. Moritz Heiml also achieved this result with a personal best time of 4:09.72 minutes in the 1500 m run.

Flora Heiml shone twice in the U16 age group: Gold for her in the 1000m with a time of 2:59.73 minutes and silver for the young talent in the 3000m in 10:36.33. The LAC starter won both medals with personal best times.
