When school started, the new director, Elke Haitzinger, took over her position. The 42-year-old from Aurach succeeds the long-standing director Barbara Mayr, who is taking a sabbatical and then retiring. Mayr was active in school service for 32 years, 30 of them as director. She headed the agricultural schools in Mauerkirchen, Mistelbach, Weyregg and, since it opened in 2011, the ABZ in Altmünster. The new head teacher, Elke Haitzinger, completed a pedagogical course in business administration and information management with a focus on controlling and finance at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. At the same time, she trained as a specialist in animal-assisted support measures, as a dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer and as a didactic teacher, and runs a dairy farm with her husband Franz.
