As several media reports, the wild deputy Philippa Strache wants to divorce ex-Vice Chancellor Heinz Christian Strache. “Yes, we have filed for divorce, but my client wants a peaceful solution despite her husband’s marital misconduct,” says Kristina Venturini, Philippa’s lawyer. The couple has been married since October 2016 and has a son together. In August 2020 both announced that they were living apart. Philippa Strache described the marriage as “hopelessly broken”.
Heinz-Christian Strache has now spoken up on Facebook himself. In his view, the “defamation” and the “public hostilities” are to blame for the marriage-off. “My wife has supported me for years with incredible strength and warmth, even in the most difficult situations, and I feel deep gratitude for that,” said the former Vice Chancellor.
