A 23-year-old from the Perg district was driving his car on Sunday around 2:20 a.m. together with a 30-year-old and a 27-year-old, both from the Perg district, on Arbingerstraße, L1428, coming from Arbing in the direction of Münzbach. The driver in the village of Groißing, Arbing municipality, got off the road with his car and slid into a ditch. Two witnesses who happened to be driving by provided first aid and called the rescue services.
All three occupants were able to get out of the completely destroyed accident vehicle on their own. They were injured to an unspecified degree and, after receiving first aid, were taken to the accident hospital in Linz. An alcohol test carried out on the 23-year-old showed a blood alcohol level of 1.24, and his driver’s license was provisionally taken away.
