If everything goes according to plan, the doors of the Rotkreuz market Pyhrn-Priel in Windischgarsten at Dambachstrasse 12 will open for the first time on October 11 at 2 p.m. for all people who are entitled to a shopping card due to their personal situation. Tuesday and Friday are the two sales days.
“In times of enormous price increases, we make it possible for people who are directly affected by poverty and who are often unable or very difficult to afford things that are taken for granted to have a better quality of life,” says Monika Felbermayr, who is responsible for the Rotkreuz market.

Together, the communities of Windischgarsten, Spital am Pyhrn, Roßleithen, Rosenau, Vorderstoder, Hinterstoder, Edelbach and St. Pankraz support the Red Cross initiative.
Werner Dilly from the dumpling workshop makes a fresh selection of his dumpling variations available for the market every fortnight free of charge. Billa Windischgarsten, Spar Windischgarsten and Unimarkt Windischgarsten provide various merchandise twice a week, and the Landlinger bakery from Windischgarsten regularly supplies the new facility with bread and pastries. Other donors are always welcome to participate.
You can get a shopping card upon request. The relevant forms are now available in all Pyhrn-Priel communities, at the social counseling center in Windischgarsten and at the Red Cross office in Windischgarsten. You can go shopping for 30 euros per week.
