A major cultural festival will be held in the spa town of Bad Füssing near the border until October 15th, ranging from classical to jazz and musicals to a performance by the Spider Murphy Gang.

The Ensemble Oper im Berg Festival will be going all out on September 22nd with Mozart’s “Magic Flute”, the day after that jazz pianist Jan Luley will be making a guest appearance. The Freies Landestheater Bayern is on September 29 with the Lehár operetta “The Land of Smiles”, the Munich Symphony Orchestra on September 30. The ensemble Voices Unlimited will follow on October 1st, the day after that the FäaschtBänkler and on October 5th, Heissmann & Rassau.

The revival band ABBA 99 will perform on October 6th and the Original Salzburg Swing Orchestra on October 7th. Highlights and scenes from musicals such as “My Fair Lady”, “Cabaret”, “West Side Story”, “Jekyll & Hyde” and “Miss Saigon” can also be enjoyed until October 15th.

The appearance of the Spider Murphy Gang as part of their unplugged acoustic tour on October 14 is considered a highlight of this year’s festival in Bad Füssing.

“Manuela Bauhuber’s event service center team managed to win the popular opera singer and entertainer Gunther Emmerlich for a joint concert with the spa orchestra on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the municipality of Bad Füssing,” says Mayor Tobias Kurz about a top-class concert , which is to mark the musical end of the culture festival on October 15th.
