Corgis and ponies awaited the Queen at Windsor Castle

Two corgis, Muick and Sandy, were seen on television footage while being leashed by staff awaiting the arrival of their mistress’ hearse at Windsor Castle.

The Queen’s coffin had previously been carried in a procession of hundreds of military personnel and dignitaries on its final leg down the avenue known as the Long Walk and through the Palace Gardens. As they entered through the gate, the Queen’s Royal Stables also paid their last respects. One of them held one of their horses by the halter. According to Sky News, it was Emma, the Queen’s favorite horse.
