The classic filter coffee, espresso and cappuccino as well as the more unusual creations Iced Caramel Macchiato, “Cookies&Cream Frappuccino” and “Pumpkin Spice Latte” have also been available in Upper Austria since Thursday. Starbucks has settled on the ground floor of the Paschingen shopping center. Coffee specialties are prepared on 130 square meters at Palmenplatz. In addition to the to-go offer typical of Starbucks, there are also 50 seats.
Further expansion plans
“The demand for a Starbucks coffee house in Upper Austria was particularly high, which became particularly clear through our social media channels,” says Stefan Hungenberg, General Manager for Starbucks Austria and Switzerland.
With the opening, Starbucks continues its expansion course in Austria: Came to Austria 19 years ago, there are now 20 branches. The first branch was opened in Innsbruck six months ago, the others are in Vienna and Salzburg. “We want to expand further,” says Hungenberg.
