On Friday there will initially be a few early fog patches, but during the day very sunny weather will prevail. In the course of the afternoon, a screen of high veil clouds will begin to appear from the west, which may dampen the sunshine. There is little wind all day. Early temperatures are between zero and seven degrees, with slight frost possible in higher Alpine valleys and in places in the north. The daily maximum temperatures are between 14 and 21 degrees.
After the dissolution of local morning fog on Saturday, the sun will shine for longer, especially in the eastern half of the country. From the west, the clouds are increasing more and more during the day, but slight foehn effects are counteracting this regionally. On Sunday, a small-scale low will pass through on the southern side of the Alps, and Austria will also be under the influence of disturbances from the west. As a result, dense clouds will dominate and rain is expected in many places. However, a few sunny sections are definitely possible in between, most likely in the north and east of the country. Mostly weak to moderate winds blow from south to west. Early temperatures are between six and twelve degrees and maximum daily temperatures between 13 and 18 degrees.
On Mondays the sun alternates with partly denser clouds. During the course of the day there could be rain showers again, the showers can occur more frequently, especially in the mountains, where the clouds are often denser. The wind blows mainly weak to moderate from east to south. Early temperatures will be between six and twelve degrees, daily highs between 13 and 19 degrees.
Unsettled weather will continue on Tuesday. Even if there can be sunny periods from time to time, the clouds will predominate. Rain showers are to be expected in all parts of the country, in some areas it could also rain for a longer period of time. The wind comes mainly from the south to west and freshens up at times, especially in the mountains. Early temperatures are between six and twelve degrees, daily highs between eleven and 17 degrees.
