Construction work will begin on Monday, and the building shell should be completed by Christmas: A joint groundbreaking ceremony by all parties in the municipal council and the future market operators at the beginning of the week marked the starting signal for the new local supplier in the Haidershofen district of Dorf an der Enns, for which the municipality provided 1.5 million euros will take in hand.
“The unanimous resolutions in the municipal council show that this project is very popular across party lines,” says Mayor Manfred Schimpl. “With this project, we are responding to the needs of the population.”
A modern local supplier is being built on around 400 square meters, which is intended to cover all everyday needs. With Spar and Livio Mrach there is an operator or tenant who will continue to run both locations in Haidershofen. The connection to the cycle network to Hainbuch and the ÖBB stop offer ideal transport options. In the future, a new cycle path will also open up the residential areas in Dorf an der Enns.
The local supplier is scheduled to open in spring 2023.
