A cold front will spread across Austria from Tuesday. The daily values can only be in the single digits, the meteorologists at the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) predicted on Sunday. The snow line drops to 1,400 meters.
The Eastern Alps remain on Monday in the western current, in addition a low center over the Gulf of Genoa becomes weather-active. Snow falls north of the Alps at altitudes between 1,500 and 1,800 meters. The wind comes from west to north-west and often freshens up moderately to briskly in parts of Tyrol and in Upper and Lower Austria. The early temperatures reach three to ten degrees, the daily maximum temperatures ten to 17 degrees.
