A cold front will spread across Austria from Tuesday. The daily values can only be in the single digits, the meteorologists at the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) predicted on Sunday. The snow line drops to 1,400 meters.
The Eastern Alps remain on Monday in the western current, in addition a low center over the Gulf of Genoa becomes weather-active. This means that during the day the focus of the rain showers is on the south side of the Alps, in the north the clouds are loosening up again and again with the influence of intermediate highs. In the Danube region and in northern Burgenland, there is a slightly stronger westerly wind blowing. The morning temperatures range from six to twelve degrees, the maximum daily temperatures from 14 to 19 degrees.
