In Rohrbach there is now also a lot of “gapadelling”

It’s easier than tennis, cooler than squash and trendier than both combined: padel, the racquet sport in a glass cage, has already captivated millions in South America and now in Europe. Hardly any other sport combines so much speed, lightness and fun in so little space. The playing field is exactly 20 by 10 meters. There is now one in Rohrbach. After locations in Wels, Salzburg and Marchtrenk, the opening in Rohrbach-Berg has now taken place. Right next to the outdoor pool and the tennis court you can now paddle.

“The Padelbase facility fits perfectly into our sports and leisure area and is an attractive offer for a wide age group,” says City Councilor for Sports Bettina Stallinger.

“The gripping sport and the innovative concept inspired us from the beginning,” says Christian Terink, Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Mühlviertel-West and supporter of the new Padelbase.
