The girl’s body was discovered by passers-by in the early morning of June 26, 2021 on a green strip in front of a residential complex. The three defendants, aged between 19 and 23, of Afghan descent, are charged with fatal rape and serious sexual abuse of minors.
After the youngest had met the 13-year-old on the Danube Canal, she went to the apartment of a compatriot, where, according to the indictment, the group is said to have decided to put the girl under the influence of drugs with intent to abuse her. She was given ecstasy tablets. As a result of the overdose, the 13-year-old suddenly stopped breathing after being abused by all three, according to the indictment. The autopsy report later revealed that the girl had died a violent death as a result of drug intoxication and asphyxiation. A total of seven days of trial are scheduled for the jury trial. The verdicts are due on October 6th.
