REED. The 13-comradeship celebrated its 30th anniversary in the Rieder farmers’ market hall, with a new book being presented: “2011 – The cadre presence unit of the PzGrenB13 as an operational reserve force in Kosovo”.
This is the fifth publication about the events and history of the Ried Panzergrenadier Battalion 13. At the celebration in Ried, Comradeship President Günter Kitzmüller also welcomed former short-term Minister of National Defense Johann Luif, who was the deputy commander of the KFOR troops in Kosovo in 2011 .
The new book can be ordered via www.13er-kameradschaft.at, where you can also join the association. The 13er-comradeship with more than 1000 members was founded in 1991 and serves to promote the Rieder Panzergrenadier Battalion 13 and the camaraderie between the former and active members of the garrison.
