A cooperation between the Red Cross and Biogena enables free bone density measurement in Rohrbach and at the same time the opportunity to carry out professional first-aid training in schools with the “Students save lives” campaign. With “Students Save Lives”, the Red Cross Youth and committed educators train students from secondary school upwards to become potential lifesavers. In order to be able to help quickly and properly in an emergency, they learn the basics of saving human lives in two teaching units per school year (on a voluntary basis).

The Red Cross, on the other hand, supports Biogena in educational measures to prevent osteoporosis in the “Strong Bones – Strong Life” campaign in Upper Austria. “With the Biogena campaign bus, we bring free test opportunities directly to the people, in the towns and villages, because fighting unnecessary broken bones and years of suffering is very important to us, and we are very happy that the Upper Austrian Red Kreuz supports us in this”, Albert Schmidbauer, founder of the Biogena Group, puts it in a nutshell.
The “Strong Bones” bus will be at the town square in Rohrbach on October 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interested parties can find further dates throughout Upper Austria at www.biogena.com/starkebone.
