ASFINAG auctions clearing vehicles and much more

Once a year, the ASFINAG motorway maintenance departments auction off vehicles and equipment that are regularly taken out of service or are no longer needed. At this year’s autumn campaign, a total of 165 exhibits will go under the hammer until October 12 – including 62 vehicles and 103 “completely operational” devices. This year there are cars, trucks, clearing vehicles, but also devices for domestic use such as high-pressure cleaners or lawn mowers up for auction. A highlight this year is a very well-preserved cherry picker.

Visit to Wels

The auction takes place online. The exhibits can be viewed in the motorway maintenance depot in Wels on October 11 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on October 12 from 7 a.m. to noon. The hammer falls on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The auction is being carried out by the Dorotheum, further information can be found here.

Proceeds in the high six-digit range

They didn’t want to reveal how much usually comes in at an autumn auction. In the previous year, however, the revenues were in the high six-digit range.
