The “Digital Award” was actually given to the best in the field of digitization, together with the Sparkasse OÖ and strong partners from the State of Upper Austria, Tabakfabrik Linz, the City of Linz, KPMG and Wiener Städtische. Scheibsta entertained the numerous guests with freely improvised rhymes with catchphrases from the audience, from “Frittattensoup” to “milling lubricant”.
The Digitalos was awarded in four categories. The best digital start-up was the Altenberg entrepreneur Thomas Neubauer with Dimetor excellent. He has developed a software and data platform for digitizing airspace for unmanned aviation and drones.
The very successful in German-speaking countries Parent blogger Christian Tropper (“One Always Screams”) won the trophy in the “Digital Personality” category.
The company specializing in screws and fasteners for wooden structures Sihga from Ohlsdorf the “digital transformation” has been a success. Sihga convinced the Digitalos jury with a moisture monitoring system that monitors buildings across the board and prevents water damage.
