Russia accused Ukraine of “terrorism” to Ukraine
The leader of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putinsaid on Sunday that the explosion on a key bridge linking Crimea with mainland Russia was a terrorist act planned by the Ukrainian special services.
“There is no doubt. This is a terrorist act aimed at destroying critical civilian infrastructure,” Putin said in a video on the Kremlin’s Telegram channel. “This was conceived, realized and ordered by the Ukrainian special services.”
Ukraine’s response
“They are trying to destroy us and wipe us off the face of the earth,” Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky wrote on social media, ahead of Monday’s ferocious barrage of Russian attacks, which included shelling of the capital kyiv.
“Destroy our people who sleep at home in Zaporizhia. Kill people who go to work in Dnipro and kyiv. The air alarm does not calm down throughout Ukraine. There are missiles hitting. Unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries”limited the president.
