Around 1 p.m., a minibus hit an oncoming car on the Eferdinger Bundesstraße. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch. Contrary to initial reports, no occupants were trapped and the drivers were able to exit their damaged vehicles either independently or with the support of first responders.
In addition to the police and Samaritans, the Alkoven and Polsing fire brigades were also deployed. According to initial information, a lady involved in the accident was taken to a hospital to be checked.
The fire brigades carried out two-way traffic control during the accident investigation and the clean-up work, which caused a long backlog through the Alkoven area, which has since cleared up again.
