Hammerer Aluminum invests 100 million euros in Ranshofen and Cris

Two new extrusion lines – one in Upper Austria and one in Romania – are to be built next year. The company announced this on Tuesday. Also in 2023, a new 14,000 square meter logistics center is to be built in Ranshofen, because the old logistics area is bursting at the seams.

After a 60-meganewton extrusion line was installed at the Ranshofen site this year, another, including upstream and downstream production systems, will follow next year, on which aluminum profiles for electric vehicles will be produced. Another automated extrusion line (40 meganewtons) will be set up at the Cris site in Romania, where the focus is on the solar, construction and industrial sectors, together with the associated infrastructure.
