A resident in the Salzburg district of Maxglan was probably torn from her sleep on Saturday night when she heard a loud bang at around two in the morning.
The disturbance of the night’s sleep was caused by an 18-year-old from Salzburg and a 19-year-old from Braunau. The duo had smashed the window of a parcel van and wanted to clear the car. However, when rearranging the packages in their own car, both were disturbed by a police patrol that the resident had called.
The men fled, after a short chase they were temporarily arrested and taken to the police detention center. The police found the package scanner and shards of the smashed car window of the package transporter on the accused.
Not confess
In their interviews, neither the 18-year-old nor the 19-year-old confessed to the allegations. You’re being reported for burglary.
