Shortly before 9 p.m., the 28-year-old drove her car in her home town on the Little Firling freight road in the direction of St. Leonhard. According to her own statements, immediately after a sharp right-hand bend, a dark SUV with a round sticker on the bonnet approached her at excessive speed. That’s why she tore her car to the right, which then slipped on the leaves.
Her car hit a tree and came to rest on the driver’s side, so she was unable to get out of the car herself. She was eventually rescued from the vehicle by following helpers. After initial medical care, she was taken to Freistadt Regional Hospital with injuries of an unspecified degree. A search for the dark SUV was initially unsuccessful.
