Every year, the emergency services meet in Wels and organize the blue light charity, this year around 900 visitors came. The proceeds of 7,500 euros will now benefit the youth organizations of the Red Cross and fire brigade as well as the police’s bereaved fund.
“This networking meeting according to the motto ‘Know heads in the crisis’ is based on being there for the population in Wels and Wels-Land together and on putting together and cooperation on a good foundation,” says district rescue commander Andreas Heinz.
This charity is supported by many large and small sponsors, who make such an event possible and support the charitable goal. The Sparkasse OÖ Region Wels has rounded up the sum this year, so that 2500 euros can flow to each of the institutions mentioned.
