260 times “I vow” on Linz’s main square

It was the first oath on the main square since April 2019: on October 24, the “I vow” sounded from 260 throats. Also present were the military commander of Upper Austria, Brigadier Dieter Muhr, Mayor Klaus Luger (SP) and Governor Thomas Stelzer (VP). The Corona crisis has brought the city of Linz and the army closer together. The chemistry is particularly good between the mayor of Linz and the military commander. There are also joint projects in blackout prevention.

“Past crises such as the corona pandemic have clearly shown us how important functioning operational structures and professional cooperation between all organizations involved are,” says Luger.

Pop Rock & Military Music

The celebration was accompanied by the sounds of the Pöstlingberg-Lichtenberg music band and the pop & rock formation of the Upper Austrian military band “Camouflash”.
