- The following still applies: Do not remove all leaves, leave them under trees and bushes (where no grass grows) and only cover them thinly with compost so that the next gust of wind does not blow them away again. Possibly chop with the lawnmower beforehand.
- Anyone who has not yet fertilized the lawn with an autumn fertilizer (organic) can still supply the meadow with nutrients on nice days.
Distribute compost – but in the vegetable garden it is only applied to the beds in the spring. - Cleaning the lawnmower: If you take the machine to the service now, you will have a ready-to-go mower with a sharp blade in the spring.
- Arrange potted plants. However, the robust ones stay outdoors for as long as possible: olive, hemp palm, oleander, laurel – they all withstand light frost.
