Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus -director general of the WHO- activated last July 23 the highest level of alert to try to contain the spread of monkeypox, a endemic disease in countries of west africa what causes rasheswhich may appear in Fondling or in the mouthand be accompanied by hits of fever, sore throat or lymph nodes.

The health warning was determined after countries in Europe and the United States noted an outbreak of the disease from Maywhich were mostly cases of patients with young men.

Since many of those who contracted the disease were men who reported having had sexual encounters with other men, the WHO has since warned against stigmata and the discriminationsand insisted that transmission could affect other sectors of the population. Until October 31, they had registered 77,264 cases in 103 countrieswith a total of 36 deadaccording to the WHO.

In Argentina, until October 25, there were 675 cases of monkeypox, 449 of them in the Buenos aires city and 176 in the Buenos Aires province14 in Cordova and 10 in Santa Fe.
