The trained farmer and master agricultural machinery technician Christoph Scherfler originally developed a prototype for an electrically operated feed mixer with low power requirements in his garage, which is used to make work easier in agriculture – in 2017 the resourceful entrepreneur founded Scherfler Landtechnik GmbH with his wife Regina in Lohnsburg. In the meantime, the growing company, which employs 15 people, has moved into its 2022 new company building with almost 2000 square meters of space.
The aim is to create energy-efficient individual solutions in the field of feeding and mixing technology, as state councilor Michaela Langer-Weninger emphasized during a visit to Lohnsburg. In 2021, Scherfler received second place in the Young Entrepreneur Award.
