Not only the local bee colonies have been busy in the past few months. The beekeepers have also invested countless hours to get the best out of the hives. This Sunday, the members of the Ried/Riedmark beekeepers’ association will be focusing on the delicious things that have emerged from this. At the Rieder Beekeeping Day from 8.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the local parish hall, a large variety of beekeeping products will be on sale. Various regional types of honey, homemade beeswax candles and tasteful gifts and decorative items await visitors on this day.
For refreshment in between, there are homemade cakes, pastries, honey gingerbread and coffee right next door. Visitors can also taste honey beer and mead.
