Many children and adults think of chocolate when they think of Advent calendars. The Lions Clubs from Wels and the surrounding area show that good things can also be done for others with advent calendars. The service clubs, which work for charitable purposes, are offering their advent calendar “Help and Win” together with sponsors from the region for the third time. The proceeds from the calendars, which cost six euros, will be donated to needy families in Austria. Every advent calendar contains a prize code with which the owners can take part in a raffle every day from December 1st to 24th after registering. The prices, such as an e-bike or a weekend trip, are then waiting to be picked up in Wels.
