“The renewed delay in the four-track expansion is completely unacceptable,” says Linz Deputy Mayor Martin Hajart (VP), who is responsible for transport. The S-Bahn from Pichling station to the main station is essential for the south of Linz: “The streets have already reached their capacity limits.”

Hajart is now pushing for a meeting with Infrastructure Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) to find an earlier start date for the S-Bahn in Pichling. “It cannot be that the ÖBB Linz is constantly neglected and neglected.
