The walk-in fish “Doni” is not only a popular excursion destination in the Machland community, but now also stands as a symbol for special achievements. At an honorary ceremony, the market town of Naarn thanked the deserving retired local politicians with a “Doni” in bronze, silver and gold for their services to society.
Tamara Steinkellner was delighted to receive a bronze “Doni” at the festive evening. Harald Lambauer was awarded a silver “Doni” for his achievements at community level. The “Doni” in gold is intended for a very special commitment to the market town of Naarn. This was presented to Christa Strasser, Christine Schwab, Josef Strasser, Gerald Derntl, Karl Gartner and Hermann Lambauer.
Three rings of honor awarded
Three people were happy about the ring of honor as the highest award of the market town of Naarn. The long-serving community doctor Ferdinand Stegfellner received this honor, as did the former deputy mayor and community politician Gertraud Schober. The third ring of honor wearer is the outgoing Naarn office manager Georg Gruber. Mayor Martin Gaisberger thanked all those honored for their tireless commitment to the market town of Naarn.
